Here at The Ship Inn we strive to cater for your every need whether that be coming into the pub for one of our quiz nights or a social night out, or even for a meal for that special occasion. We have a comprehensive menu that consists of homemade traditional pub food that is made fresh to order. We will endeavour to serve you as quickly as possible but as it is cooked fresh to order there may be a delay at busy times.  "No Ping Food Here!"

We also keep an excellent selection of real ales which we change on a regular basis. Our ales come from a range of local breweries such as Durham, Cropton, Jarrow, Hexhamshire, Mordue and many more. You can look us up in the Camra Good Beer Guide

Large parties for meals can be catered for on an afternoon or evening and if you preorder this will also reduce your waiting time.  If there are any special needs that you may require prior to your afternoon/evening with us then please don't hesitate to call us and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
